How Eventecture Delivered the Lagos State Government
& The Concord Group Booths at GITEX Nigeria
At GITEX Nigeria, simply having a booth is not enough.
On a busy exhibition floor, brands are competing for attention from every direction. Your space has to attract people, communicate your identity and give them a reason to step inside.
That was the challenge Eventecture took on at GITEX Nigeria, delivering two distinct exhibition experiences for the Lagos State Government and The Concord Group’s “Made in Moscow” Pavilion.
Two very different briefs. One exhibition floor. One standard of execution.
THE CHALLENGE: MORE THAN JUST A BOOTH
A great exhibition booth has to do more than look good.
It needs to work from every angle: draw attention from a distance, create a natural flow of movement, support meetings and demonstrations, and give the brand a memorable physical presence.
For these two projects, that meant combining spatial design, custom fabrication, lighting and precise technical execution to turn concepts into fully functional exhibition environments.
LAGOS STATE BOOTH: HERITAGE MEETS INNOVATION
The brief was to showcase Lagos as “Africa’s Innovation Capital” while keeping its cultural identity firmly at the centre.
We brought that story to life through a combination of architecture and visual storytelling.
The Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge became a major focal point, framed by an illuminated warm lit lines, while the iconic Danfo bus cutout was integrated into the canopy.
An Eyo masquerade stood alongside high-resolution digital displays and a striking perforated canopy, creating a visual dialogue between Lagos’ heritage and its technology-driven future.
The booth was also designed for business. Private VIP and B2B meeting areas featuring fluted wood walls, premium tables and seating provided space for meaningful conversations away from the main exhibition traffic.
THE CONCORD GROUP: PRECISION IN EXECUTION
The “Made in Moscow” Pavilion came with a different challenge.
The architectural concept was developed by The Concord Group, while Eventecture was responsible for interpreting the technical drawings and bringing the design to life through precise fabrication and execution.
The result was a futuristic pavilion anchored by tall LED video pillars, creating an unmistakable presence across the exhibition hall.
BUILT FOR TECHNOLOGY
We fabricated clean white demonstration pods with integrated lighting, giving each participating vendor a dedicated space to showcase products ranging from hardware to robotics.
At the centre of the pavilion, an illuminated 3D Matryoshka doll brought a distinctly Russian identity to the space.
Set against a custom-lit crown emblem, the sculpture became a natural focal point and photo area while tying the futuristic environment back to the “Made in Moscow” concept.
TWO BRIEFS. ONE STANDARD.
The Lagos State Government booth told a story of culture, identity and innovation.
The Made in Moscow Pavilion focused on technology, precision and Russian identity.
Different visions, but the same expectation: turn the design into a space that works, connects and gets remembered.
That is where Eventecture comes in.
From custom exhibition stand design and fabrication to technical build execution and installation, we create event environments designed to make brands impossible to overlook.
